FPC-Kingwood To Host AIA Super Bowl Breakfast, Sat. Jan 31 @ 7:30 a.m.
Dec 29, 2008
Anyone with an interest in football and faith in Jesus on and off the field is invited to come and join us the Super Bowl Breakfast on Saturday, January 31st. The breakfast, hosted by Athletes in Action, is happening in Tampa Bay Stadium, the site of this year's Super Bowl, but will be broadcast live to First Presbyterian Church of Kingwood. Bring your sons, nephews, brothers, neighbors and friends, and even your wives and daughters - everyone is welcome.
The Super Bowl Breakfast brings high-profile athletes and coaches like Tony Dungy, Anthony Munoz, Derrick Brooks, and Bart Starr to speak to us and First Presbyterian Church of Kingwood is happy to be a local host for the simulcast. Highlights of the morning will include: and inside look at each of the teams playing in this year's Super Bowl; up close and personal interviews with players and other celebrated guests; an inspirational keynote address; and the presentation of the prestigious Bart Starr Award given to a player selected by his peers who exemplifies character in the home, on the field and in the community.
Doors open at 7:00 am and breakfast will be served at 7:30 am. Tickets are being sold for a suggested donation of $5. Proceeds will help defray costs. Stop by the registration table Sunday mornings in the FPC-Kingwood Fellowship Hall for tickets or contact Nicole Segura at 281.360.5555 or for more information.
