June STORYLINE Event - Singing in the Psalms

Our oldest hymnal is the Book of Psalms, and Christians throughout history have wanted to obey the biblical injunction to praise the Lord using “psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs” (Colossians 3:16). Join us from 6-8 p.m., Sunday, June 21 for our monthly STORYLINE event, Singing in the Psalms.
John Calvin wrote, “We shall not find better songs nor more fitting for the purpose than the Psalms of David, which the Holy Spirit spoke...and moreover, when we sing them, we are certain that God puts in our mouths these, as if He Himself were singing in us to exalt His glory.”
We invite you, your friends and families to a fun night of worship where we will together praise the Lord through the Psalms in a variety of ways concluding with a good ole’ fashioned ice-cream social. So come ready to worship God, enjoy one another, and eat a lot of ice-cream.
