Mens' Fraternity-The Great Adventure!

Do you want to have a greater understanding of your world beyond the everyday?  Do you know other men who are asking the same questions? Invite your friends to experience this wonderful adventure together through The Great Adventure-Mens' Fraternity at First Presbyterian Church-Kingwood.

Beginning Oct. 17, Mens' Fraternity will meet weekly in Fellowship Hall on Fridays from 6-7:30 a.m. (come for breakfast at 5:45). It is not a prerequisite for participants to have completed year one - The Quest for Authentic Manhood, or year two - Winning at Work and Home. The program is open to all men, regardless of where they worship.

This 20-session study-facilitated once again by Dr. Mark Smith-puts "the roof on the house of masculinity and creates a vision for a man's future and destiny," says FPC-Kingwood member Philip Wagner.

"Men's Fraternity helps men rediscover the adventure in life through a greater understanding of who they are. Men will uncover the uniqueness they have as a man and discover a satisfying life focus," says Wagner. "It will challenge men to consider several important questions they are continually asking themselves such as' Who am I? What are my dreams in life?' and ‘Do I have courage to pursue those dreams?'"

Mens Fraternity will also introduce a tool, Your Unique DesignTM, to help men better understand their makeup, who they are, what their natural strengths are and the types of environments in which they thrive. Participants will also have the opportunity to take the online personality inventory (for $35), Your Unique DesignTM which can prove invaluable in helping men discover their own great adventure, said Wagner.

"Never has another manhood curriculum challenged men to live life to the fullest like Mens' Fraternity-The Great Adventure. It will take men on a journey that leads to significant personal discoveries about who they are and where they are going in life. So won't you and your friends consider joining us for the Great Adventure?"
