Storyline - the Bible from Genesis to Revelation - starting in January

STORYLINE ... what is it? It's a unique opportunity for our church and our community to listen to the story God shares with us in the Scriptures from Genesis to Revelation, and it's coming our way in 2009.
It will begin, though, even before January 1st. All during the month of December you'll be able to buy a Christmas present for yourself! Each Sunday we'll be inviting you to preview and purchase a copy of The Daily Walk Study Bible - New Living Translation for just $12.95. This Bible is the basic text for STORYLINE and we'll be using it all year. Each day's reading will start with an "Overview" to help us see how the reading fits into the STORYLINE. Then we'll read a few chapters from the Bible and finish with a devotional called "My Daily Walk." Each day's reading will take between15 and 20 minutes, but at the end of the year we will have read the whole Bible together.
Each Sunday we'll center our worship together on the section of the scriptural STORYLINE that we've read the previous week and the Sermon will be based on part of the week's STORYLINE, as well. You'll have the chance, if you would like to do so, to sign up to be part of a "Storyline Small Group" for fellowship and discussion. There will also be special STORYLINE events for the whole church all throughout the year.STORYLINE will unite our whole church family; children, students, and adults, as each week we read a part of the story together. It's going to be a life-changing experience we will never forget. But that's exactly why God gave us the story, to change our lives, to transform us into a "family of faith." So make plans now to be part of STORYLINE and perhaps to invite someone who's not a member of our church to be part of STORYLINE, too. It's time to tell "the old, old story" all over again!
