Finding the Love of Your Life

This course is designed to help our single members improve their chances of "living happily ever after." This class will provide information and discussion on the key principle involved-choosing the right marriage partner-as well as where to find the most desirable candidates. By building on scientific research, durable ancient teachings and Biblical principles, we'll show you how to wisely and skillfully make the right choice. Led by Terry Kett.

The Song

When most people think about the Bible, they don't think about the physical manifestation of love. But the short book (only eight chapters long) The Song of Solomon is all about human, sexual, desirable love. The course will explore why it is in the Bible and how it got there. If you have the courage to face erotic love in Scripture, join Sam Sterrett as he leads this course.

Jesus-Through the Eagle's Eye

The ancient symbol for the Gospel of John was the eagle, and the reason for the symbolism was this: Eagles see differently than we do. That's simply a biological reality!  The eagle's eye is composed so that it can see even small things from a distance with amazing clarity, which is the way John sees Jesus. He sees things the first three gospels do not and we need to see them, too. So come and join us as we study Jesus this fall through John's eagle eyes! Join Dr. Jim Davis as he leads this class.

Conversational Spanish

Begin learning the Spanish language in this 10-week course, which may be continued into the spring semester. Spanish may be particularly helpful for those going on FPC-Kingwood-led mission trips to Peru or Mexico. Kitty Thrower will be teaching this class.
