In addition to Sunday School and family worship experiences, First Presbyterian Church-Kingwood has weekday activities available for our littlest members - toddlers and preschoolers.

FPC-Kingwood's Children's First School has both Mother's Day Out (MDO) and Preschool programs which are organized to complement each other as they enrich the active lives of one to five year olds.

FPC-Kingwood Mother's Day Out staff applaud and support all the love and dedication in the good job you do in parenting your children. We would like to add to your efforts and work together to ensure the growth and development necessary for kind and happy little people, as well as a good start in the formal school experience.

Mother's Day Out has two teachers in each classroom except for our 4-year old class which is kept at a small size.

*Registration fee discounted $25 if same child already enrolled in Preschool

RED Class - (Younger 1's [by September 1st]) - Tuesday, Thursday, Friday**
ORANGE Class - (Older 1's/2's) - Tuesday, Thursday, Friday**
YELLOW Class - (2's) - Tuesday, Thursday**
GREEN Class - (Older 2's) - Tuesday, Friday
BLUE Class - (3's) - Tuesday, Friday
PURPLE Class - (4's) - Friday**

** If enrollment is not high enough, classes may not be available.

REGISTRATION:  Registration forms are available in the school office. The form must be turned in and the registration fee paid in order for a child to be officially registered.  Registration fees are non-refundable, unless you change programs within our school. 

TUITION:  Tuition is paid monthly, September through May.  Tuition is due on the first of the month and considered late after the 10th.  A late fee will apply.  If it is necessary to leave the program, a two-week notice is required.

SCHOOL TERM:  MDO is operated September through May.  We observe the Humble ISD school calendar http://www.humble.k12.tx.us/pdf/08-09calendar.pdf with the exception of beginning and ending dates.

LETTER TO PARENTS:   A letter to parents of registered children will be sent out each year by Mid-July. This letter will include information on the first day of class, class assignments, orientation, and other pertinent information or dates, as well as required forms.

ENROLLMENT FORM:  This includes emergency and other pertinent information, and must be signed by your child's physician, unless your physician provides their own well-child form. A current immunization record is also required. Having these on file is a state requirement, and a new form must be filled out each year your child attends. You may return these forms by the end of May or several days in August will be reserved in order to turn in required forms. This MUST be done before your child may attend school on the first day.

EXTENDED DAY for Preschoolers: This is an optional program where the children bring their lunch and stay until 2:30. It is a regularly scheduled class and registration is required.

Pssssstt!!! FPC-Kingwood Offers Early Registration for Church Members

March is enrollment time for the Early Childhood Programs at FPC-Kingwood. Registration for church members takes place in the Fellowship Hall between worship services on the first Sunday in March. If you are not able to register on this particular Sunday, call the school office at 281.360.5179. Please take advantage of this priority registration as registration opens to non-church members the following Monday.
