Senior Adults

Heart, Soul and Mind

First Presbyterian Church-Kingwood invites senior adults (ages 50-plus) who are “young at heart” to join others in our church community at the same stage of life.

RAAPS–Retirement Age Active Presbyterians

RAAPS offers enriching programs, luncheons, dinners, and exciting excursions during our frequent day trips. It’s a great outreach opportunity to invite friends who will be warmly welcomed and have a great time, too!

Join Us on our Next Trip!

Reservations required, advance payment important as reservations with venues and restaurants are made 2-3 months in advance. Sign-up sheets available in Fellowship Hall on Sunday or from the church office. Contact Ann, 281.360.5555x110 or . Senior Calendars are at the Connections Desk.

RAAPS Announces Late Summer Trip to New Mexico (August 23 - 29, 2010)
The RAAPS Senior Ministry is headed to beautiful high desert.  Laughter, good food and fun will abound when we visit Albuquerque and Santa Fe. We have saved enough room on the bus for your “purchases” and perhaps poundage!

Grief/Visitation Group

At this stage in life it can be difficult to deal with the sometimes inevitable hardships that accompany aging. The FPC-Kingwood Senior Ministry Grief/Visitation Group offers care and support for those who are confined to their homes or retirement centers. We are committed to providing friendship, time, sharing, comfort, personal care and prayer.

To register for FPC-Kingwood Senior Adult Programs, please contact Associate Director of Senior Ministry Ann Kruse by email: , or by phone: 281.360.5555x110.
