First Presbyterian Church-Kingwood invites senior adults (ages 50-plus) who are “young at heart” to join others in our church community at the same stage of life.

RAAPS–Retirement Age Active Presbyterians

RAAPS offers enriching programs, luncheons, dinners, and exciting excursions during our frequent day trips. It’s a great outreach opportunity to invite friends who will be warmly welcomed and have a great time, too!

Event Schedule 

TUESDAY, July 12 – “Just Lunch” – Amadeo’s   Noon

SUNDAY, July 10 – Young Artist’s Program at Lone Star College performing scenes from “West Side Story” -  Performing Arts Center on campus.    2 P.M.  Tickets $5.00  no transportation provided – information only. 

FRIDAY, July 15 -  Carmen   Lone Star College Summer Opera, 7:30 p.m.  Carpool OR meet there.  General Admission $15.00, Seniors $12.00 or Students $5.00

SATURDAY, July 16 – SEE ABOVE, CARMEN

THURSDAY, July 21 – Gonzales – step on guide – jail, museum, etc. $15.00.  Lunch on your own.  Bus will leave the Church parking lot promptly at 8:00 a.m.

TUESDAY, September 13 – “Legacy” luncheon – baby picture match-up, games, skits, remember your childhood, music, singing and just plain fun.  Join us for a light lunch and lots of fun.  In the Fellowship Hall.       $15.00

FRIDAY, October 14 – Three Texas Tenors -  Nathaniel Center – Show time 7:00 P.M. - Meet at Church (6:30 p.m. for carpool) OR meet at The Nathaniel Center  - light refreshments – drinks on your own -  $15.00  Waiting List Only.

If you cannot make a trip that you have signed up to attend, please let Ann Kruse know in advance as we often have several people on the waiting list. If someone fails to cancel and doesn’t show up, those empty spots go unused as it’s too late to notify waiting list participants on the morning of the trip. Thank you.
