Shepherd Groups
Reaching the FPC-Kingwood Family
The FPC-Kingwood Board of Deacons primarily provides ministry to Kingwood and the surrounding communities through 28 geographically-divided Shepherd Groups. To reach the FPC-Kingwood youth, there is also a Shepherd Group just for college-aged members.
Each Shepherd Group is led by a Deacon and Shepherd Group Leader(s) who together ensure that the people of the church are cared for and assured they belong to the family of Christ. Shepherd Groups help to develop a sense of community among church members by socializing and providing support to one another in times of need.
